For some reason, it is customary in Japan to eat cake when Christmas is celebrated.
When I was a child, I once brought home a cake that my parents had asked for.
Then a Christmas cake tragedy happened to me. A dog ran up to me as I was taking the cake home. I was scared and put the cake in front of the dog, thinking that if I gave him the cake, he would run away.
The dog dexterously sucked the handle of the box and carried it back to the hut.
Of course, the Christmas cake allowed me to escape from the dog at that time.
This story still appears from time to time as a funny and nostalgic tale.
